2. Assassin

It's probably the heaviest Muse have ever been, so they're going to have to bring out Assassin as a big gun at Download. It's unthinkable that they'd snub it, and a smart bet would have it late on in the set.

Assassin is the high-point from the excellent Black Holes And Revelations and is another opportunity to really show off Dom Howard's drumming, which tends to be unfairly overlooked (or compositionally pushed back too much).

There's definitely something of the metal world in the riff, albeit with a very obvious Muse slant and while there isn't the usual bias towards a chorus, the riff drives enough to make it a great fit for ears more used to metal. So in other words, it's perfect for Donington.
