Eminem: 10 Most Overrated Songs

6. Love The Way You Lie

For a long time this was Eminem's biggest hit, but eventually the juggernaut had to die and like the old saying goes, the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Eminem's career didn't distinctly decline immediately after, but the signs of regression were certainly creeping in in the shady aftermath that ensued.

The song certainly deserves praise for tackling something so heinous as domestic abuse and many people probably prospered from hearing this, based on that alone, it is a song that has more of a reason for existing than most of the shovelware excreted onto the market these days and is excruciatingly crucial to our societal progression. The only problem, though, is that it feels like the same old song and dance regurgitated from a multitude of Eminem's previous works. We all know his parable about Kim. Probably more than we do our own extended families at this point, and not only does he refuse to breathe new life into a dwindling storyline, but the amount of effort put into it is laughable.

The Skylar Grey written hook is extremely memorable and even influential to a degree, but other than "Life is no Nintendo game" and "I guess that's why they call it window pane", "I'm her Superman, with the wind in his back, she's Lois Lane" - which do not actually all appear in the same verse and are all awful lyrics by the way - show Eminem utilising a very subjugated rhyme scheme.

Does anyone actually remember his verses?
