Eminem - Kamikaze: Every Song Ranked From Worst To Best
7. Lucky You
Matched syllable for syllable by a fantastic Joyner Lucas, Lucky You is a showcase of Eminem’s rapping ability, much like the majority of the album. However, on this occasion he does address some significant issues, such as the fact that his karma may be catching up to him for all the people he's dissed throughout his career.
The chorus is forgettable and feels like a rehash of every other song released in the past few years, but the lyrics and flow are world class. It’s the sort of rap song that warrants multiple plays, and constant rewinding, to ensure you capture every bar and dissect their meaning.
It’s also great to see Eminem using his album to give other, less mainstream rappers a platform, especially after Revival included so many features from already established superstars such as Beyonce and Ed Sheeran.
