Eminem's 10 Most Intense Celebrity Feuds

Standout Lyrical Attack: 'Put me on your f*cking cover just to sell your little sell out mag/ I ain't mad, I feel bad, here's an ad, here's a poster of Ray-Ray and his Dad'. The Sauce magazine was a highly respected hip-hop magazine, particularly in the 1990's, with an award show giving accolades to some of the biggest names in rap. Eminem was irritated that the magazine would never give an album of his a 'Five Mic' rating and allegedly was disrespectful to the co-owner Benzino, whilst backstage of a rap summit in Puerto Rico. Benzino decided to go at Eminem with a radio freestyle and then a record; the problem was nobody was buying Benzino's angle. He was accusing Eminem of being a 'rap Hitler' and suggesting he wasn't leaving any room for black artists to sell records in the genre anymore. Which is an argument flawed simply by facts, because hip hop was more commercially popular than ever and the likes of Nelly and Jay-Z were selling plenty of records. Eminem got extremely caught up in the quarrel, later claiming that the rivalry led to exhaustion and a lack of sleep; the emotion and anger Eminem administered on Benzino most probably had some influence on his soon to become well-documented drug addiction too. Eminem later released the song 'Like Toy Soldiers' which was trying to play down both this rivalry and the one with Ja Rule.
