Every Bob Dylan Album Ranked Worst To Best

24. Bob Dylan (1962)

Bob Dylan's eponymous debut was the start of a stunning career, one that few could have possibly foreseen despite the album's genuine spark of genius.

Recorded when he was just 20-years-old, Dylan's debut shows an artist destined for bigger things, trying to pin down his sound and doing a fine job of it in the process.

Folk-pop songs like Talkin' New York and his cover of House Of The Rising Sun could sit on Highway 61 Revisited without suspicion, though it can't rank any higher than this simply because his song-writing isn't quite as confident or consistent as it would soon become.
