Every Bob Dylan Album Ranked Worst To Best
38. Triplicate (2017)
Bob Dylan doesn't have any outright "bad" album, only experiments that didn't work as well as they should have. Even so, Triplicate is a low point in Dylan's career, a needlessly overlong slog through a series of Frank Sinatra covers that allow the singer to show off his anguished vocal chops, yet moves at unengaging, glacial pace.
I Could Have Told You and Stardust are both great songs in isolation, but overall the album lacks the urgency and innovation of Dylan's more immediate classics.
