Every Bob Dylan Album Ranked Worst To Best
19. Together Through Life (2009)
Together Through Life was released as a massive surprise to fans, and features Dylan blending blues, folk, rock, pop and everything in-between into a masterful record characterised by his savage vocal performance and tender lyrics.
Pushing 70 when the album was released, Dylan here is at his cynical best, lamenting about America's economic crisis, politicians and his anger at the state of the world.
The album reaches its apex with the sneery It's All Good, but also features high points with Beyond Here Lies Nothin', Forgetful Heart and Jolene. It's a great, underrated gem, in need of a re-appraisal.
