Every Bob Dylan Album Ranked Worst To Best

10. Nashville Skyline (1969)

Bob Dylan has crafted a career out of experimentation, and because his albums often incorporate a wide range of genres, they can sometimes defy simple categorisation.

But then there's Nashville Skyline, his most underrated and assessible record. A purely country album which finds Dylan sporting a sweeter, softer voice than usual (he'd briefly quit smoking) and singing alongside fellow legend Johnny Cash, Skyline finds Dylan at his most content and happy.

By moving away from the political landscape and his own frequent cynicism, Dylan created a unique and beautiful record full of hope, destined to bring smiles to old and new fans alike. It may be shorter than his other albums, but it's easily one of his most memorable.
