Every David Bowie Album Ranked Worst To Best (By Guitar Power)

22. Black Star (2016)

An album that, for entirely understandable reasons, was elevated to the stature of genius, coinciding as it did with his untimely death. In reality, it is a decent enough set but there isn’t a truly great song here.

It is churlish to overly-criticise a work that was completed whilst Bowie knew he was on borrowed time, but the truth is that if it had been one of his early albums it is unlikely that it would be particularly revered.
