For Bowie’s original glam era fans, this was an unexpected treat, and reminded people of just how formidable the classic Spiders From Mars line up was. As Ronson can do no wrong, this is an essential for all fans of ‘70s guitar hero pyrotechnics married to a set of actual songs.

The sound quality is excellent, way better than the coveted bootlegs that had turned up sporadically over the years, and all versions of the studio classics are tight and urgent.
