Every Dropkick Murphys Albums Ranked Worst To Best

8. Signed And Sealed In Blood

This was the final album for full-time bagpiper Scruffy Wallace. Prominent tracks "The Boys are Back" and "Rose Tattoo" carry the weight for some of the lesser songs. After the grueling effort of writing and recording previous record Going Out In Style, Signed and Sealed in Blood brings the pub singalong feel back. The tracks sound as though the band was having fun recording it.

Punked up pirate shanty Prisoner's Song commands clap along participation with its catchy hook. Tracks Burn and My Hero scratch the itch for DKM's more aggressive sound.

Overall, Signed and Sealed in Blood serves as a reliable car trip record for its consistent upbeat and catchy arrangements and easy-to-sing with lyrics.
