Every Green Day Album Opening Song Ranked From Worst To Best

7. Nuclear Family - ¡Uno!

The first in Green Day's 2012 trilogy, and their first studio release in three years, was ¡Uno!, which makes it very clear where this gag is going.

Nuclear Family not only served as the album's first song, but also as a promotional single, which is different from a regular single because... uhh... it just is. In it, Billie Joe talks about the death of conventional society (presented by the idea of said nuclear family), but his attitude towards this decline is to have as much fun as possible whilst he still can.

The whole thing is presented with that classic Green Day sarcasm, making for a unique take on a subject that has been done to death. If the music were a little more varied, then maybe this would have done better.

Also, it's quite hard to endorse a song that has the line "drinking angel's piss" in it.
