Every Iron Maiden Album Closing Song Ranked From Worst To Best

14. Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden

The song Iron Maiden by the band Iron Maiden from the album Iron Maiden is, in fact, the group's most-played song live. That might be because it's existed since the mid-70s, making it one of their oldest songs.

It is the first ever Maiden album closer, performing final duties on their self-titled debut from 1980. With original singer Paul Di'Anno on vocals, it's a punk-inspired tune about a man looking to kill someone with the titular medieval torture device. It's similar in tone to the rest of the album, which was much darker than the output fans are used to today.

A fine piece of speed metal, Iron Maiden is just a bit meh, but you can't argue with its longevity.
