Every Iron Maiden Album Closing Song Ranked From Worst To Best
13. Drifter - Killers
Killers, the second and final Maiden album to feature Di'Anno on vocals, features two instrumental tracks. Luckily for Di'Anno, Drifter is not one of them, so he gets a second mention on this list.
With a real satisfying riff and plenty of welly behind it, Drifters is a bouncy little rocker that wouldn't sound out of place on a classic rock radio station. To some people, this will come across as an insult, but it wasn't meant as one.
It gets a bit repetitive after a while, but it's still a neat little number, although maybe for a band without such a macabre reputation. Has anyone got Status Quo's number?
