Every Queen Album Closing Song Ranked From Worst To Best

9. Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together) - A Day At The Races

The band's next album, A Day at the Races, finished up with a slightly better song, because, well, it was an actual song.

Teo Torriatte (the romanised version of the Japanese for "holding hands") was released as a single in the Land of the Rising Sun and features two verses sung entirely in Japanese. It's earned something of a cult following in the country, featuring in the coverage of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Remember, the ones actually held in 2021?

The song, which is also called "Let Us Cling Together", is a decent ballad about the joys of love and companionship. Mercury's voice is utterly triumphant here, able to rouse even the gloomiest of spirits, but that's about it in terms of remarkability.

Such a strong vocal performance still deserves praise, even if the children's choir is a bit much.
