Of all the mammoth crowds at Glastonbury, few boasted the numbers of its unlikeliest hero - Lionel Richie. The former Commodore built upon Dolly Parton's 2014 success to warm everybody's hearts with a humble, good-natured set of classics. It was impossible not to break into a smile as a 'Hello' and 'All Night Long' rang through the Sunday afternoon air, a field of giddy festival-goers bellowing Richie's lyrics back at him. The soul superstar looked genuinely touched by the love showered upon him, and delivered a performance that will go down in history as one of Glastonbury's truly happiest.
