Guns N' Roses: 15 Obscure Tracks You've Probably Never Heard

7. Too Much Too Soon

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PpGj25QZFA Source: 86 demo Too Much Too Soon can be summed up as classic sleaze GN'R - songs like It's So Easy, Back Of B----, and Nightrain come to mind - sung to a much more traditional, old rock n' roll sound, something of a throwback. The lyrics include:
Every night I go out I get in my car I push on the pedal but you know that I go too far. There's parties everywhere that i can see Killin' myself will be the death of me.
It's the basic live fast, die young concept put to song. Not exactly as nuanced as later recordings, but the foundation for what was to come. Recorded in 1986 (estimated, per Here Today, Gone to Hell), the demo features a drum machine. It all shares its name with the title of a New York Dolls album.
