Kanye West: Every Album Ranked From Worst To Best
7. Graduation
If Late Registration didn't do much different to the album that preceded it, Graduation embodies the opposite of this. The final record of this trilogy sees Kanye begin to create the arena rap sound that he perfected over his career.
This album, like so many of West's albums, was truly groundbreaking. This is more evident than ever when looking at the context of its release. Kanye went head to head with 50 Cent and outsold him by a large margin, proving that West's inventive new rap style was here to stay.
Unfortunately, this album is perhaps his worst aged due to just how inventive it was with many songs feeling quite dated. Nonetheless, the importance of the album cannot be understated. Even with a few songs feeling old, the likes of Stronger are still some of Kanye's best work.
Best Track: Stronger
