8. Dont Take Life Too Seriously
Fun is a central part of Katy Perrys image and her lifestyle - she has taught us all to take life a little less seriously and to have fun along the way. Her discography is pact full of fun of songs promoting spontaneous fun such as Waking Up In Vegas, Last Friday Night and This Is How We Do. Perry states that her mission while playing shows is to make people smile and enjoy themselves. On top of this, Perry doesnt worry and obsess about always being seen to be perfect or sexy. This is demonstrated in her latest music video for Birthday which sees her transformed into a multitude of characters from an ageing stripper to comedic clown. In her film Part Of Me, Perry playfully comments that you can never be too cartoony and promotes the idea that although you need to grow up, this does not mean that you have to grow old and loose your sense of childish fun.
