Lady Gaga: 10 Most Outrageous Outfits

2. Kermit The Frog Lady Gaga wore the Kermit The Frog outfit in 2009 to a German television interview. The top was designed and created by Jean Charles de Castelbajac and is made entirely of plush Kermit The Frogs. Miss Piggy was less than impressed with Gaga taking her lover to the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards as her date of choice and rocking the Kermit The Frog top. The Muppet Queen was quick to dismiss the rumours of their budding romance to Perez Hilton: "No, no I don€™t talk about lies. I talk about truth." On the top: €œThose were faux frogs,€ sniffed Miss Piggy. "I€™ve had the real Kermit wrapped around my neck.€ 'But why did she wear it?!' - I hear you ask, well according to Mother Monster she wore the outfit as a statement against wearing fur. "I really loved this one in particular because I thought it was commentary on not wearing fur, 'cause I hate fur and I don't wear fur. We were all laughing in the house about how it looks like a pile of dead Kermits." PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals) supported Gaga's stance on this. However when she decided to wear the next outfit - they distanced herself from the artist.
