In the end, their secret gig was pretty much anything but, and while the Main Stage was catering for more hardcore tastes, the Oxford indie rockers hit the Radio One tent to welcome new album release What Went Down. Clearly buoyed by that release - and a triumphant appearance at Reading the day before - the band were just as intense and energetic as some of the wilder lot down the hill. And the intimacy of playing a tent - and not the bigger stage they would warrant elsewhere at any other time - added something almost forbidden about the entire thing. Which is precisely what bookers should be aiming for with these secret gigs. So big points for this one.
