Leeds Festival 2015 Review : 7 Best Performances On Sunday

3. Royal Blood

It can only be a matter of time before Royal Blood headline one of the big festivals. After their barn-storming and widely played first album, they€™re working on a follow up that - if successful - should push them up to the very top of the ladder. And that will be precisely what they deserve. The band managed to pull in the second biggest crowd of the day, dwarfing everyone bar Metallica on the Main Stage as testament to their mainstream appeal and their ability to unit chart buyers and the more hardcore element. Their charisma is infectious, and their slightly understated mannerisms likewise - not quite as energetic as the chest-thumping performance they put on at Radio 6 Live Music Festival in Newcastle - and their live show is stunningly polished. The pair promised more hangovers at the start of their set (well delivered, actually) but it€™s a pleasant after-taste they left as usual.
