Marilyn Manson: EVERY Album Ranked Worst To Best

5. We Are Chaos

Manson's most recent record is nothing short of a revelation. A moody, mature, and incredibly tight album, We Are Chaos shows Manson at his most refrained, calm and collected. There are no pure anthems on the record, per se, with Manson here opting for a slower, more melodic tone throughout.

From the epic title track opener to the beautifully catchy "Don't Chase the Dead," it is clear early on that We Are Chaos might just be Manson's most grown-up and unique album to date. Toning down the controversy in favour of a more accessible and polished sound, there's no filler throughout the record - only continuously eerie, melodic and unforgettable.

It might not work for fans of the more old-school, fast-paced Manson albums, but its tone and lyrical power cannot be denied.

Best Songs: We Are Chaos, Don't Chase the Dead, Perfume, Half-Way and One Step Forward
