NEHRUVIANDOOM is a collaborative album produced by MF DOOM with vocals from both DOOM and Bishop Nehru. DOOM's beats on this album are some of his best and his lyrics are as always filled with compound-rhymes and metaphors, but are unfortunately very sparse as he only raps on about half the songs.

The story of NEHRUVIANDOOM is left intentionally vague but while listening closely to the lyrics it's clear what they were going for. Bishop Nehru was a younger artist, but with undeniable talent and drive. DOOM recognizes this talent and sees himself in Nehru, eventually deciding to become a sort of mentor for him to teach him how to be both a rapper and a villain. This is summed up by the sample at the beginning of Caskets: "Young blood. He's smart and he's tough. But he's got a lot to learn about survival and the man he's gonna learn it from is... DOOM!"

The generational mixture of DOOM and Nehru creates this contrast between new and old-school rap and mixes well with the psychedelic beats by DOOM.
