Chugging guitars, a demonic piano refrain and vocals that sound more werewolf than human. This is The Bad Seeds at their most unhinged, and yet they still sound like a calculated force of evil. The live version is particularly smouldering. Were I at the shows during which the essential Live Seeds recordings were made, I believe that I would, at some points, fear for my soul.
