6. Blandest
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFEF-bR1R_8 Recorded in 1988 in sessions that resulted in the popular Bleach track Love Buzz, Blandest sounds like it would have fit right in on Nirvana's first album. It's actually somewhat surprising that it was never included on Incesticide. Either album would have been the perfect home for Blandest, which was recorded almost immediately after the band had shown the song to then-drummer Chad Channing. The band, however, likely planned to do more with the song later (Nirvana and Cobain often made multiple recordings of the same song), and instructed producer Jack Endino to record over it. It's likely a band member kept a copy, and the song circulated that way before being included on With the Lights Out.
