One Direction have reassured fans that they will fight to keep their name in the US. The UK based band who are currently taking the States by storm, are facing a legal battle with a California based band who are also named One Direction. Last week One Direction US filed a lawsuit against One Direction UK over the usage of the name in the US, citing that the Brit band are hurting sales of the California band over the name confusion. The Sun reports that One Direction UK band members Harry Styles and Zayn Malik told Australian reporters "no" when asked if they were considering a new name. "We don't know but we're not changing our name." Since the lawsuit was filed last week the Californian One Direction have revealed that they have received death threats and hate mail from angry fans who are concerned about the implications of the case against their band.
