2007. Then, after some sneaky hints that there would be an album this year, soon followed by the outright tease and tickle of showing the mixing desk with a label of
Dave on it, the internet went wild with
O! MA GAWDZ! DAVE GROHL IZ BAK ON ZE KIT!!!!! or words to that effect.
As of
Monday 8th April the world has been exposed to an actual flash of the coming album. The track is called
My God Is The Sun and is the first song to be taken from the upcoming,
and now available for pre-order,
...Like Clockwork. It premiered on
Zane Lowes Radio 1 show alongside the information about the albums title and planned
June release. Without further ado here is the track, and it is a spectacular return to form from
QOTSA. I am really looking forward to the album now as this track seems to hint at a sound somewhere between
Songs For The Deaf and
Lullabies To Paralyze, add into that
Dave Grohl behind the kit again and this list of extra guest stars;
