Radiohead: Predicting Every Track On The New Album

8. Identikit

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkROR4itLKc Radiohead really seem to like Identikit. It was debuted on their 2012 tour in support of The King of Limbs and was played several times throughout the tour. We already know Radiohead recorded songs at Jack White's Third Man Studios, and Jack White confirmed it himself. Fans have speculated that one of the songs recorded at Third Man was Identikit, although nothing has ever been confirmed. This meandering, percussive track combines hypnotic rhythms with the vocals of Yorke and guitarist Ed O'Brien to create one of their most captivating new songs. It sounds like an amalgamation of elements from 15 Step and Idioteque, two of their previous (amazing) tracks, both of which had the same type of frantic, energised beats. If the band are able to capture whatever the hell it was that made those tracks so astounding, Identikit should be one of the most exciting tracks on their 9th LP.
