7. Burn The Witch
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uejn1f6pqMQ Burn the Witch might be the most cryptic of all the band's unreleased tracks. The only hints we have that the song even exists are vague hints on the band's website and the short teasers the band played at a few gigs during the 2000s. For a track we know almost nothing about, the hype it's able to generate within the fanbase is pretty incredible. The title alone suggests even darker subject matter than we're used to with the band (and it's not like they've shied away from dark subject matter in the past). The slow, somber piano intro Yorke has teased fans with at several gigs adds even more to this sense of darkness. Lyrics teased on the band's blog Dead Air Space further add to this, with lines about "cheering at the gallows." You never know, though. Burn The Witch could be that Eurovision entry we all know the band are secretly working on. After all, Thom did say they were up for doing it in 2003.
