Ramones: 15 Best Songs (That Weren't From The Original Lineup)

The controversy surrounding his time as a member of the Ramones aside, Richie Ramone was a rather skilled drummer when it came time for the band to record. What's more is that with the track Somebody Put Something In My Drink, Richie also proved himself as a decent songwriter.
Based on an actual incident in which a Richie's drink was spiked with LSD, this song's lyrics do a fantastic job of painting a vivid picture of disorientation, anger, and regret, all while taking the time to denounce those who would purposefully slip a foreign substance to someone against their will.
Joey's delightfully hoarse tone of voice in this track goes that extra mile when it comes to bringing Richie's lyrics to life. And the booming instrumental certainly doesn't hurt the song's tone.
It was around the 1980s that the Ramones began experimenting with far more aggressive music than they had previously put out. Plenty of songs encapsulate this, including a couple more this list will mention, but Somebody Put Something In My Drink is undeniably a hallmark of this point in the band's history.
