Ranking Every Metallica Album From Worst To Best
7. Hardwired...To Self-Destruct (2016)
Best Tracks: Spit Out the Bone, Dream No More, Atlas, Rise!
Worst Track: Now That We're Dead
Metallica's brand new effort isn't one of their strongest showings, but it's still a highly enjoyable effort for the most part, evoking the epic feel fans expect while also boasting a far cleaner production quality than most of the band's albums (especially the prior Death Magnetic).
Hetfield arguably sounds at his near-best on some of these songs, and while Ulrich's drumming feels fairly uninspired these days, he still smashes out an absolute corker on Spit Out the Bone, which is easily one of the best 'Tallica tracks in decades.
