19. "Rock 'N' Roll Revolution" - Survival Of The Sickest
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z7tSnfyyb0M Here comes a pure-bred Saliva song that was destined from the get-go to become one of their very best. "Rock 'N' Roll Revolution" is the lead song off their fourth studio album, Survival Of The Sickest, and starts off their new sound with a rock solid bang. Displaying the band's evolution into a rock 'n' roll throwback format, "Rock 'N' Roll Revolution" not only establishes itself as one of their heaviest opening songs to date, but a song dedicated to the corrupted dealings and greedy upbringings of the music industry itself. Basically calling out the music industry mongrels out for focusing too much on bringing in money to stretch their wallets, Saliva aims high and low to point out the faults of music labels attracting talent only to help line in their pockets. It's a message that had to be told at some point, and Saliva does it with classic fines and rock 'n' roll fashion, thereby starting the revolution they've always wanted. 18. "Here With You" - Blood Stained Love Story
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PV3AmMwzfFs Let it be known, I've always been a fan of Saliva's softer side, especially when they dive into the personal journeys with which they've taken and that we must take. Those songs stuck with me throughout my high school years, and Blood Stained Love Story was their definitive album that held the most memories back then. While I'm not here to explain my past dealings back in the school years, I am here to point out the significance of each song. "Here With You", the last track on Blood Stained Love Story, was the Saliva song that helped me through a bad, depressing time. After carefully listening to it countless times, I was enamored by its passionate lyrics and joyous power at explained one's love for someone else and the lengths in which one would go to retrieve that love. To this day, it remains one of the very few Salvia songs that I can quote word for word. And to this day, it remains one of the most involving and effective songs in Saliva's 16-year career. 17. "Judgment Day" - Cinco Diablo
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0nvPbIneL0 Like any band out there, Saliva is a huge supporter of the United States military. They've released material dedicated squarely on the troops, and have been known from time to time to pay tribute to the US troops during their live shows. "Pride" is one tribute song they play, but "Judgement Day" is the definitive army song off of Cinco Diablo, marking the album's final appearance on this list. "Judgment Day" was at first a hard song to decipher. But, as things became more clear and understandable, the lyrics almost followed frame for frame the life of a soldier overseas fighting for freedom alongside his brothers and sisters of the army. It's a lot more complex than "Pride", and provides a longer running time to help explain the personal journey of someone fighting in another country for America's freedom and hope. Not only is it an awesome song to listen to in this regard, but it's such a powerful and captivavting tribute song to the United States troops. Saliva's love for the US troops goes far indeed, and "Judgement Day" is like a physically manifested red, white, and blue hand that shakes the hands of each active military official.
