The Beatles: 13 Tracks To Forget

9. You Like Me Too Much

There is no doubt that George Harrison may have been the most talented and also most under-appreciated member of The Beatles. His songs featured eclectic sounds and lyrics that made people think.

You Like Me Too Much, unfortunately, is one of Harrison's songs that falls flat. It is featured among the second half of an album that is very much hit or miss, in this case being the latter.

This song in particular is just a bit too Buddy Holly in that for an album released in 1965, it just sounds so dated. It's the kind of tune one would expect played at a sock hop circa 1958 and not in a year when the world's youth culture was really starting to change.

Sorry, George, but you went too white bread here.
