1. Three Hours of Non-Stop Music
We've all been to shows and know how boring and tedious it can be waiting between bands. If you arrive right as doors open you can be waiting anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half waiting for the opening band to play for about 30 minutes. Then more waiting. The support act or acts come on for a longer set, then they finish up and more waiting. Thus, a concert can become a very time consuming event when you consider the music to waiting ratio. At the Revival Tour sets start IMMEDIATELY after the previous one ends. That's right - as soon as the first song is played you will be watching people play the entire time up until the final "Fare Thee Well." It's a welcome change to the typical concert experience. The primary reason one goes to a show is to hear/see music performed so by stripping away all of the glitz and glamor, and just focusing on musicians and their instruments set up times are essentially nonexistent. A performer comes on stage, grabs his or her guitar and starts playing. No having to endure nu-metal over the venue's P.A. between sets, no trying to find a way to kill some time until the band you came to see starts, just pure unadulterated passion and performance.
