Top 10 Anti-Valentine's Day Love Songs

5. Puddle Of Mudd - She Hates Me

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYE4CVhVkhw A song of rejection, abuse, and being treated unfairly by a loved one makes this a classic no-no this February 14th. The song was written in 1993 - long before the band were ever fronted - by lead guitarist Jimmy Allen. He wrote the track about a relationship which went sour but his girlfriend of the time ended up apologising for her behaviour and encouraged him to get a job and stop being a musician. A few years later Allen's band not only found major label success with a signing to Fred Durst own Flawless label but also released the track to critical acclaim. You can't be more obvious how anti-love this song truly is. On the plus side this is a great song for those filled with self-pity or loathing for that cheating partner. If your partner's cheating - and you know it - why not play with their head with a spot of Mudd? It might make you feel better and will surprise them with an extra special Valentines neither they €“ nor the new object of their affections €“ will be likely to forget.
