10. Nothing Compares To You - Sinéad O'Connor

Frankly, despite its emotional video and lyrics, I feel that this is a case of a song being overplayed to the point where most of its emotion has been stripped away. I think it's a real shame and - of course - I'm sure a fair few of you will disagree with that argument. Still regardless of my feelings towards it, I realise that a list of breakup songs would not be complete without Sinéad's rendition of Nothing Compares To You.
