Whilst the Western world continues to contain legions of hysterical teenage girls and whilst Simon Cowell continues to like making money, the music industry is always going to have its share of manufactured acts put together by 'talent' shows. Riding on the coattails of the inexplicable success of One Direction across this globe this year has been Union J, who were created during the course of 2012's yearly iteration of the X Factor. Despite finishing fourth in the show, the group were quick to sign a record deal and record a debut album, which went to #6 in the UK in October, much like their first single 'Carry You'. A second single, 'Beautiful Life', went to #8 and though a third has so far flopped, marketing deals with the likes of Pokemon X+Y and Penguin Books, combined with an appearance in Kick Ass 2, would seem to indicate that the foursome won't be disappearing off the face of the Earth (a fate that befalls around 95% of X Factor contestants) any time soon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GEEYhzaeNus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mE3v4Bv8NaY
