What sound does a fox make? Or to phrase it in a manner that would make Samuel Johnson turn in his grave, 'what does the fox say'? That was the question posed in a silly yet entertaining (the first time you hear it at least) song by Norwegian comedic performers (and brothers) Vegard and Bard Ylvisaker, otherwise known as Ylvis. Initially written for their show on Norwegian television (in the same way that the Lonely Island's songs were originally creations for Saturday Night Live), the track went viral on YouTube and has been viewed around 300 million times to date. The track's success has probably shocked its makers more than anyone, and though they're likely to be a one hit wonder, they, like PSY in 2012, can lay claim to being the creators of the 'random and ridiculous yet massively popular song of the year ' for 2013. In all seriousness though, what does a fox sound like? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jofNR_WkoCE
