4. Tina Fey And Amy Poehler
One of the saddest moments in the modern era occurred when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were no longer on Saturday Night Live together. They were the first women co-anchors on Weekend Update, and together they ushered in a creatively exciting period for female comedians in both sketch comedy and more traditional scripted sitcoms. But just because they're not appearing on television every Saturday night and blowing our minds with amazing comedy, doesn't mean that they're not still a functioning duo. Although Tina Fey went off to 30 Rock and Amy Poehler to Parks and Recreation, they found a new outlet for their creative ambition, and that was the thankless job of award show hosting. No matter how you do it, people will tell you you're doing it wrong. Despite this, they won almost universal acclaim for their performance on the Golden Globes the past two years, and just hosted again this past weekend.
