5. The FBI Tailed Sacha Baron Cohen For Several Days
Given that Sacha Baron Cohen is one of the most successful comedians of his generation and is responsible for some of the most iconic comedic characters of all time, it was only a matter of time before he made an appearance on Marc Maron's podcast, which is known for its in depth interviews with comedians in particular.
One of Baron Cohen's most iconic - if not the most iconic - characters is Borat, the main focus of his satirical smash hit film Borat. On his 2016 episode of WTF, he mentioned that he was tailed by federal agents while filming the 2006 comedy as a result of the FBI receiving a concerning amount of phone calls from citizens about a suspicious middle-Eastern man interacting with them on the street.
Naturally, the man-on-the-street brand of comedy that Borat employed would bring with it plenty of hassle from the public, but the fact that the FBI actually followed Baron Cohen for several days adds a new level of hilarity to the movie.
