10 Craziest Things People Have Ever Done In Their Sleep

5. Climb 13 Stories Straight Up Into The Air

tumblrtumblrIn June 2005, an unnamed 15-year-old girl was found having sleepwalked her way to a precarious predicament. She€™d apparently left her home in Dulwich, London, and climbed, fully-clothed, all the way to the top of a disused crane on a nearby building site (a full 130 feet in the air) to curl up on the arm and resume her usual sleeping posture. Apparently a passer-by spotted her in the early hours of the morning and called the emergency services, although we€™d be fascinated to know how someone €˜passing by€™ at that time of night would spot a sleeping teenager on top of a crane. Where was he or she €˜passing by€™, the rooftops? Was this a good Samaritan with the power of flight, or does London have a particularly civic-minded cat burglar at large? Whatever, a fireman climbed to the top of the crane and, upon being unable to safely wake the girl, found a mobile phone in her pocket and called her parents to inform them of the whereabouts of their errant daughter. They then had the bright idea of calling her phone back, and so managed to wake her in a relaxed enough manner that the fireman could help her down to safety.
