10 More Deserving Winners Of Time's "Person Of The Year" Than The Pope
10. Kim Jong-Un
As most of us know all too well, it can be very difficult to follow in your father's footsteps. What makes it even harder is when you are the next in line to the world's only hereditary Stalinist dictatorship with the eyes of the world's media and a good deal of the United States' missile armoury trained on you. The transition of power from the late Kim Jong-Il to his son was seamless in the way that going from an upright position to falling and smashing your head on the floor is. Desperate to make a name for himself on the world stage, Kim Jong-Un initiated a prolonged campaign of aggressive, militarised political rhetoric that had the newswires buzzing and people reaching for their copies of Team America: World Police just to remind themselves what all the fuss was about. Quickly realising that North Korea doesn't particularly have the capability to take on the world, and is being kept on a short leash by an increasingly exasperated China, the West quickly shoved Kim into the drawer marked 'Figure of Fun'. The only real trouble Kimg Jong-Un and North Korea pose is to themselves and her eternally tramped-down populace.
