10 Exciting New Things Coming To Walt Disney World In 2020 (And Beyond)

5. Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind

If you know anything about the Guardians of the Galaxy they do things their own way, which seems only fitting that their new coaster should have a reverse launch into space!

This "storytelling coaster" not only has a reverse launch but the cars themselves can rotate 360 degrees, allowing you to hurtle through space with no idea which direction you are heading in.

Despite the reverse launch and fully rotating ride vehicles, Disney has described the ride as "family friendly". This likely means it won't be quite as intense as Rock 'n' Roller Coaster over in Hollywood and may be more along the lines of Space Mountain in terms of intensity.

Expected opening date: 2021
