4. Pandora - The World Of Avatar

Back in August last year, we finally found out the name of the new Avatar expansion coming to the Animal Kingdom

First announced in 2011, Pandora - The World Of Avatar is set to open its doors to the public in 2017.

Working closely with Avatar director James Cameron, this immersive land will take visitors to the home of the Na'vi.

Disney are creating a lush landscape filled with bioluminescent plant life and the film's floating mountains.

Pandora - The World Of Avatar is confirmed to have two rides; Na'vi River Journey, a river boat ride along the "sacred" river and AVATAR Flight of Passage, in which guests will fly through Pandora on the back of a Banshee.

With the floating mountains already in place, the 2017 opening date appears to be on track.
