1. Hulk Ragdolls Loki - The Avengers

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YStUg14_23o The funniest moment of 2012, however, came from Joss Whedon's superb superhero blockbuster smash hit - and the highest grossing film of the year - The Avengers. Though given Whedon's track record, we expected the film to be action-packed, exciting and witty, we didn't quite expect it to be this great, and perhaps the film's strongest asset isn't its fantastic action, but rather its immaculately witty screenplay. Whedon perfectly balances the banter between the superheroes and their reluctant alliance, while also giving the heroes plenty of opportunities to spar verbally - and physically - with big bad Loki (Tom Hiddleston). The best moment comes when Hulk confronts Loki, which Loki doesn't take too kindly to, putting him down and calling him a "dull creature", but he doesn't get to say much more before Hulk, fed up with his spiel, grabs him by the legs and slams him around the room like a ragdoll, before uttering "Puny God" and walking away. Uproarious though this is, the best bit? Loki's high-pitched squeal as he resembles a crumpled heap on the floor. What did you find to be the funniest moment of 2012?
