9. The Halloween Slasher
Housemates Adriane Insogna, Lauren Meanza and Leslie Ann Mazzara spent their Halloween evening like countless others in their home town of Napa Valley, California - handing out sweets to trick-or-treaters. After a long evening of dishing out treats, the girls went to bed, but Lauren was soon woken up by horrific screams. Assuming it was coming outside, she burst out of the front door to see what was going on. However, Lauren quickly realised that the screams were coming from
within her home. Running back inside, she was greeted by the sight of her two housemates, barely alive after being stabbed multiple times. It later emerged that the killer was Adriane's best friend's fiancé, who had murdered the girls because he was jealous of their friendship. The two victims died of their wounds.
