"If you don't get a laugh every sixty seconds...you've got a problem." ~Anthony Bourdain

The late Anthony Bourdain was the star of food & travel shows such as No Reservations and Parts Unknown. We only got one appearance from him on the Joe Rogan Experience, but its absolutely one of the best podcast episodes.

Bourdain first touches on his interest in Brazilian jiu jitsu while getting into stories about his travels around the world. It's interesting to hear his thoughts on putting together his show, what they try to set up for the episodes, and how he tries to shine a positive light on the places and people he meets. He goes into some detail on what it took to film in Cuba and how much the authorities let him get away with filming.

He and Rogan give their opinions on the current state (at the time) of reality TV, from its addicting qualities to its trashy content.

One of the first really insightful JRE conversations, even with Redban interruptions, it's quite disappointing we'll never get another with the legendary documentarian.
