"He's laying in the fetal position with a guy behind him throwing hammer fists, you're not trying to defend yourself" ~Chuck Liddell

Not only do you get the MMA legend Chuck "the Iceman" Liddell, but also Enson Inoue, a Japanese-American mixed martial artist. A lot of JRE fans either missed Liddell being on the podcast, or forgot, as much of the conversation is dominated by Inoue.

Liddell is a UFC hall-of-famer and former light-heavyweight champion, making his UFC debut in '98 at UFC17.

We join the trio for an excellent conversation delving into the classic days of MMA and the beginning of UFC. Longtime fans of mixed martial arts will appreciate the history and knowledge presented by both fighters. Liddell talks about his frustration with MMA judges and trying to figure out how they came to their decisions.

In one of the shortest stints on the Joe Rogan Podcast, Liddell leaves after about 50 minutes. Inoue and Rogan continue on with conversations about the Fukashima disaster, the Yakuza, and the Gracie family. This is a strictly MMA conversation, sorry non-fight fans.

Inoue would return again on JRE #511.
