10 Lies You Will Tell Yourself When You Quit Carbs
9. Cauliflower Is An Adequate Replacement For Everything
Did you know that if you grind up cauliflower really small you can use it to make a pizza base? Seriously! All you need to do is spend a lot of money on a food processor, assemble the food processor, cut yourself fitting the blades, throw in the cauliflower (and some of your skin! Oops! But more protein!), then chuck in some almonds (totally normal pizza base ingredient) and eggs (you know, eggs! The things you're currently eating at every meal!), blend it all up, then spread it awkwardly on a baking tray and bam! Something that resembles a pizza base, at least visually! Hard as it may be to believe, cauliflower can also sub in for rice. And bagels. And tacos. And couscous. And nachos. And the approval of your parents. Basically, if you desire it, cauliflower can impersonate it. Isn't it crazy how a vegetable you never paid any attention to because you thought it was dull and inferior has secretly been an amazing chameleon this entire time? What an idiot your former self was.
